![]() Hey all. I would especially like replies from you to guys, but anyone with any knowledge of the situation would do please. I have been using quest for quite a while now, but my games never seem to be that good cos' i havent got a clue what the hell ASL means, or how to use it. Would someone please be able to explain, put up a download, or post a link to explain what this is, how to do certain things. Basically im looking for a begginers tutorial. |

![]() ASL stands for Adventure Scripting Language and you can write it yourself using a text editor - open one of your .asl files in Notepad to get an idea. There's a full ASL Reference in the Quest help, but as far as I know there are no current tutorials available. MaDbRiT wrote a tutorial for Quest 2.x's ASL, but there are many fundamental differences between that and the ASL used in Quest 3.x, so it probably won't be too helpful unless you want to learn ASL2, and then learn ASL3 from the "Notes for Users of Previous Versions" in the help... I can think of more fun things to do! |

![]() Alex has said it all really... For beginners (and old-timer's alike) QDK is ok for all games. AFAIK there's only 1 or two items QDK doesn't cover by default... quote: I can't : ) Computer Whizz |
