The results for IFcomp came out just today. My game ranked 38th (out of 38) due to the fact that it had more bugs than the Amazon rainforest. I will try to de-bug it and upload a deent version of it here.

It was called Blade Sentinel and had a comic superhero plot. Plus it was the only Quest game.

I wonder if you got a bad review partly from Quests layout and features?
Since most others have been around more, and developed - for example - the map feature, ect... I wonder if the Judges are slightly bias. Personally I like Quest's better : )
I was also wondering about your media - did you have any (music, pictures, ect...) and also if the competition had any?

No. Copywrite problems mostly, plus lack of time. That's the main reason the game was so bad. I didn't have the time to fully playtest it.

Yeah, I understand... I'd love to have a song in my game but since it's by someone professional - and the fact I am a student with about as much money as a hobo down on his luck (anyone else noticed most hobo are men?) - I can't : (
I'll just have to have good music (I have a fantastic idea).

also, there are some great MP3/WAV files on www.flashkit.com they are loops, but they are really great.

Yeah - hobo's are homeless people. They're usually called "hobos" over in America (to my knowledge).
