When I try to use the 'move <(object name); (new room)>' command to move an object from the player's inventory to another room, the object remains displayed in the players inventory. Is this a bug, or is there another way about this? i.e. 'hide' or 'conceal' the object then 'move' it? or 'lose' then 'move' etc. RK |

I think the problem is where the panel doesn't refresh within Quest! It happens in the object/place panel when you change an alias of an object... Computer Whizz |

WC, I don't know about the alias thing. However, I can see that as being problematic considering the alias is how the object is refered to by commands. Eventually I had to code the object to 'hide', then 'move' it, then 'show' it (or else it remains hidden in the place it moves, of course). A bit of a pain, but it works. |

Sticky inventory objects would be a great idea. In MSp2 i have to originallydefine all the objects like weapons etc in one room so they display in the right order! lol, or has there beel several upgrades since my last visit |
