I've tried to sequence pictures by "showing" a JPG followed by a "pause" followed by showing another JPG. The pauses work, but I only get one of the pictures.

Did you type the filenames in absolutely perfectly, and were they both in game folder?

The pause facility in Quest 2.x isn't particularly good and completely ceases all processing and screen painting. It could be that as a result of the pause, the picture is not being repainted until after the pause, when it is immediately replaced. Quest 3.0 implements the "pause" command much more nicely - give that a try.

My guess is that's what's happening. I tried 3.0 Beta, and it worked fine. Thanks.
