once a picture is displayed is there a way to later make it disappear the same way

As far as I am aware, that cannot currently be done with QUEST, all pictures having the regular X in the corner to close them down.
Interesting idea - along with the idea of being able to embed pictures in the text window.
Either of those a practical proposition I wonder?

Yeah, this would be a reason why it'd be nice to embed pics in the text window like I explained in a below topic. This way, you wouldn't have to worry about clicking the X, nor would the pic get in your way of the game. Alex, is this possible to add for 3.0?

Closing the picture window from a script command is on the "to do" list for v3.0. As for displaying a picture in the same part of the window as text, this is something I'd like to implement but it will require a bit of work. One day, one day...
