How much bandwidth does my site use? Which files use the most bandwidth?

Most web hosting packages include a limited amount of bandwidth, usually measured in gigabytes. Xlogan can tell you how much bandwidth your website is using, and also which files used the most bandwidth. You can also see what external sites are linking to your files, so you can see if other sites are using your bandwidth by externally linking to your images, for example.

Here is an example of Xlogan's Summary Report. The total bandwidth used by the site is displayed:

By clicking the Files tab and sorting by Bandwidth, you can see which files are using the most bandwidth on your site:

Double-click any file to see the "Referred to/by" report - from here you can see if there are any external sites linking to that file.

What are web log files?
