I am being forced to do this task at college for Computing and was wondering if I could produce a text-editor for Quest.

It would be alot like Textpad, with coloured syntax (hopefully), but will be totally featured around ASL-300 (maybe extra's added in but it will conform to ASL-300 at least).

It will be 100% freeware (no trialware or shareware or whatever). I am asking in this post for:
[Alex] ::: Do I require permission to release this? Or am I only able to give it to certain people (like you and/or Al) to get user feedback?
[MaDbRiT/others that do ASL through text] ::: Could you give me some guidelines and possible features you would like me to include - I do have many of my own but I don't want to centre the program around *MY* needs - but the general need.

Thank you for paying attention and reading this post.

You don't need my permission to make any Quest tool, as long as you're not redistributing parts of Quest Pro - and you certainly don't need to do that to make a text editor.

Interesting project - looking forward to seeing it.
