Operation sleepover help

I realize this game is old, and this has been asked before without success, but what does one do in operation sleepover once their character has been mad a 2-year old? I've gotten to the point where I found the watch and made the screwdriver, but then I killed myself on the electrical outlet. Am I missing something, or is this game just a poorly disguised message not to harass your sister?

Use the screwdriver on the vent, not the outlet.
